State Police suspect at least three people are involved in stealing a truck and several new ATVs and an enclosed trailer, worth over $70,000 total, from Jackson Township over the weekend.

 

According to the report, the first item stolen was a white 2005 Ford F250, bearing PA Registration YSB4505. It was stolen from an address on Tulpehocken Road in Jackson Township over Saturday

CLEVELAND- The man arrested for a violent crime spree that claimed the life of a young man appeared in court Monday.

William Ted Jones, 27, is accused of shooting and killing Jared Plesec, 21, in the lobby of the Euclid Beach Village Apartments early Saturday. Jones’ bond was set at $5 million.

Witnesses told Fox 8 News that Plesec was sharing scripture with the suspect just before Jones shot him in the head.

At the Salvation Army Cleveland Temple on Sunday, dozens consoled one another trying to come to terms with the shooting death of one of their own.

Jones is also accused of carrying out several carjackings before he was arrested.

Police seek help after weekend crime spree

Bunbury police are seeking information from the public following a spate of burglaries in the South West on Sunday night.

Bunbury Sen. Sgt Mal Jones said a white Triton utility was stolen from the Bunbury area and used in a series of burglaries.

“The offences occurred in Waterloo, Dardanup, Brunswick Junction, Burekup and Harvey,” he said.

“Service stations and general stores were targeted with cigarettes and confectionery stolen.

“That vehicle has been recovered, burnt out near the Bunbury hockey ovals. Inquiries are under way seeking CCTV footage of the offenders.”

The offences occurred between 11pm Sunday and 12.30am Monday.

Dylon Taylor Carpenter and Kierra Jean Haggerty, both 18, have been charged in connection with a crime spree in Great Falls.

Court documents state that two people reported that they had been assaulted on Saturday night along the 3000 block of Lower River Road. The two people told police that they were driving and stopped at a stop sign, and six people “appeared and surrounded the vehicle.”

The two people got out of the vehicle, and one of them was then punched in the face, and the other was assaulted by someone with a baseball bat. One of the victims said that one of the suspects pointed a black semi-automatic weapon at them. The victims were able to get back into their vehicle and drive away. They were able to provide police with the license plate

Weekend crime spree as burglars target Sheffield suburb

Burglars targeted a number of homes and vehicles in a Sheffield suburb during a weekend crime spree.

Thieves and vandals targeted several streets in the eastern part of the city between noon on Saturday and noon today.

They stole parts from a garden gate outside a property in Lichford Road, Heeley.

They then turned their attention to stealing lead flashing from homes in Normancroft Way and Angleton Gardens in Manor Park.

There was also a burglary at a home in Durlstone Drive, Manor Park, but police did not say what was stolen.

Meanwhile, vandals caused damage to doors, windows and and the roof at properties in Brimmesfield Close, Arbourthorne, Angleton Gardens, Manor Park and Coleridge Gardens, Attercliffe.

Three vehicles were damaged in Waltheof Road, Manor Park, Attercliffe Road, Attercliffe, and Prince of Wales Road in Darnall.
