Three lone men and a 15-year-old boy were attacked separately by a group of robbers driving around in a car late at night, a jury heard.
Nottingham Crown Court was told on Monday one of the alleged robbers was Kyle Tams, who prosecutors claim moved with three co-offenders from victim-to-victim in the space of 35 minutes in a Ford Focus.
Four people were targeted, including the 15-year-old carrying a bag; a man who was knocked unconscious and another who suffered serious life-changing injuries.
Tams, 29, of Windermere Gardens, Long Eaton, has pleaded not guilty to conspiracy to commit robberies with three other men between August 20 and August 21, 2015.
Graham Huston, prosecuting, told the jury the three others involved had pleaded guilty. Tams maintains he was not the fourth man – that whoever was in the car with the three others was not him.
