Suspects in custody after targeting women in crime spree

INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) – Three people are in custody suspected in a dangerous crime spree attacking women on the south side of Marion County in the Camby area. Part of the area is patrolled by officers from The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department Southwest District. The suspects include an underage girl for her role in the crime spree.

The armed robberies happened near the busy intersection of State Road 67 and Camby Road. One of the victims, a mother of three, told Eyewitness News she knew something was up right away. One of the suspects stopped the mother and pretended to need help.

Ashleigh Frye said, “He said can I use your phone? I said no and I went to hit the lock button on my door.”

Caught on camera: Police look to ID 2 suspects in crime spree on Milwaukee’s south side

MILWAUKEE — Milwaukee police are asking for your help identifying two suspects wanted in connection with a December 6th crime at the Citgo Gas Station at 12th and Lincoln.

Officials say the victim, a 39-year-old woman, walked into the gas station around 6:00 a.m. An altercation ensued and the male suspect pointed a gun at the victim. The suspect and his female accomplice then fled the scene.

Suspect #1 is described as a black man between 30-40 years-old, standing 6’-6’2” tall, and weighing 160-170 pounds with a thin build.  He was last seen wearing a black skull cap type hat, a dark letterman-style jacket with light gray sleeves and a light gray hood, dark jeans and black and red shoes.

A crime spree through Mesa and Chandler, suspects aiming guns at an off-duty cop, and a chase through a busy mall. The three brazen suspects have never been found.

It started with a carjacking. A man was stuffed into his own trunk by a man with a distinctive tattoo. A few hours later, that same man was spotted robbing another driver in Chandler, then led an off-duty cop on a chase through a busy mall parking lot before confronting him with a gun.

Two suspects charged in Great Falls car break-in crime spree

Two suspects have been arrested in connection with a recent car break-in “crime spree” that victimized dozens of local residents and involved at least 17 recent vehicle burglaries.

Jorri Ann Rusinski, 37, and Jamie Lee Eisch, 31, now face a combined total of 11 felony offenses, including multiple counts of felony theft and criminal possession of dangerous drugs.

According to court documents, the arrests of Rusinski and Eisch began on Nov. 20, when Great Falls police officers executed a warrant to search a vehicle belonging to Rusinski. During that search, officers recovered numerous stolen items estimated to have a sum value of around $12,000. 

In a subsequent investigation, police determined that Rusinski has pawned at least 63 items at nine different pawn stores in the preceding six months.

Police are looking for suspects on Saturday after a crime spree in the city’s Morgan Park neighborhood on Saturday morning.

According to a community alert issued by police, a person between the ages of 14 and 18 stole a vehicle in the 400 block of West 100th Place and proceeded to rob three different people and hijack another vehicle, committing all the crimes within a two-hour span.

It’s unclear how many suspects are involved, according to police.

The robbery spree began at 6:30 a.m. when a running Chevy Equinox was stolen. After that theft, three robberies were reported within 10 minutes of one another, beginning at 7:30 a.m. in the 2600 block of West 106th Place. Teen suspects appear in court after violent multi-county crime spree across Triangle – WTVD

Two teenagers faced a judge Wednesday, accused of going on a crime spree in two Triangle counties early Tuesday morning.

They’re currently charged in connection with multiple armed robberies in Durham, but the crime spree involved a lot more than just robberies.

In the courtroom Wednesday, the pair’s relatives watched – some weeping – as Marcus Cofield, 17, of Durham, Jarrien Smith, 18, of Durham, heard the charges against them.

They are charged with three counts of robbery with a dangerous weapon and three counts of conspiracy to commit robbery.

While they’re inside the Durham County Jail, Cofield’s in trouble with the law elsewhere after Tuesday’s carjacking in Cary.
