Police seek man and woman suspected in armed crime spree

INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) – Metro Police robbery detectives are on the lookout for a man and woman suspected in a dangerous armed robbery crime spree.

The same couple is suspected of pulling a gun on their victims during the robberies to intimidate them into handing over money. Several of the stick-ups have occurred in the Castleton area.

But it is what police will view on surveillance video from a Subway restaurant that could help bring them to justice. The video shows them committing a bold robbery. They are caught on camera at an East 86th Street Subway on the morning of December 20, where they first ordered a sandwich. Then the woman pulled a gun and started demanded money from the sandwich shop employee.

The owner of the Subway is not surprised that the robbery happened. He shared with Eyewitness News that this is the season.

Deputies: Duo suspected in ‘organized crime spree’ in multiple NC counties face more than 50 charges

NEBO, NC (FOX Carolina) –

McDowell County deputies said a Charlotte man and a 17-year-old from Charlotte face a long list of charges after “an organized crime spree” through multiple counties.

Deputies said 25-year-old Jordan Cornelius Carmichael and the teen, whose name was not released, face more than four dozen charges. The offenses include breaking and entering a motor vehicle, larceny, damage to property, larceny of a motor vehicle, larceny of a firearm, and more.

Deputies said the duo was involved in a series of crimes between Charlotte and McDowell County.

On Nov. 9, deputies said they stole four vehicles and broke into at least 39 cars and one garage in the Nebo area. During the spree, deputies said the men stole thousands of dollars’ worth of money, guns, electronics, hunting equipment, tools, medication and jewelry and caused thousands more

Police Seek Female Pickpocket in Suspected Northeast LA Restaurant Crime Spree

The Glendale Police Department is asking the public for assistance in nabbing a pickpocket that has allegedly been lifting wallets from customers at a string of Pasadena and Glendale cafes and restaurants. GPD detectives shared surveillance images of the suspect yesterday, after victims reported their wallets stolen.

So far, the Glendale Police Department has not named which businesses the incidents took place in, as the investigation is still pending and victims may still be coming forward. Several have already informed the police after noticing strange charges for computer equipment following the theft. The Los Angeles Daily News was the first to report on the spree.

Redding Police arrest man after suspected crime spree

Redding Police say a man has been arrested after an officer found him with a stolen vehicle, drug paraphernalia, and stolen property.

Police say it all started Friday night at around 9 p.m. when Redding Police Department responded to a call of a petty theft in the 1600 block of Hilltop Drive. Ismael Herrera, 52, of Corning CA, reported he had his wallet stolen from his vehicle.

Officers learned Herrera had left his vehicle unlocked and his wallet in the glove box while at work. His wallet contained his California driver license, cash, and two credit cards. Herrera believed the crime took place between 12:00 pm and 5:00 pm. He also told officers his credit card had fraudulently been used several times that afternoon in the Mt. Shasta Mall. Escaped Wakulla County inmates suspected in multi-state crime spree

WAKULLA COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) – UPDATE 2:56 PM 11/22/2017 – The search continues for two escaped inmates from Wakulla County after one was arrested in North Carolina.

Authorities are still searching for Joel Teraill Cooper and Donald James Cotterman.

According to WBTV’s report, the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office believes all three men may have been involved in the theft of a 2007 Pacifica recreational vehicle that was stolen from Rowan County. Deputies said the vehicle was taken out of state. 

The Sheriff’s Office says that there is evidence showing the three men may have been involved in several property crimes in Georgia, Virginia as well as Rowan County.
