Police: Suspects in stolen car go on crime spree, ends in crash

CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) –

Suspects stole a car, robbed several cars, robbed a Rite Aid, and crashed into another car, according to Charlotte-Mecklenburg police. 

Five suspects have been charged in connection with the various crimes.

A car was stolen early Saturday morning around the same time that seven other crimes of breaking and entering occurred. According to police, after the crime spree, a suspect robbed a Rite Aid at 3716 W. T. Harris Blvd with a handgun. 

No one was injured in the robbery at Rite Aid. The suspect and two others fled the scene in the stolen car, according to police. 

Police say that the stolen vehicle used in the robbery was located by a tag reader on The Plaza at Matheson Ave. The stolen car turned onto Sugar Creek Road. and

Sioux Falls Teens go on Crime Spree with Stolen Van

Police believe the 14-year-olds are responsible for vandalizing nearly 40 vehicles in central Sioux Falls. KDLT Reporter Jill Johnson has more from Sioux Falls

SIOUX FALLS, SD —  Two teens are facing more charges after police say they led authorities on a high speed chase in a stolen vehicle.

Police believe the 14-year-olds are responsible for vandalizing nearly 40 vehicles in central Sioux Falls.

On Sunday night into the early Monday, Sioux Falls Police received nearly 40 reports of  car windows that had been smashed with landscaping rocks.

“It’s probably $500 a window, some have been more, some have been less, but that’s just kind of at least a ballpark,” said Sioux Falls Police Officer Sam Clemens. “That brings the grand total up to about $19,000 in damages,” said Sioux Falls Police Officer Sam Clemens.

Police said it was another report though that led them to the suspects.

2 arrested after crime spree involving stolen school bus near Breton

Two suspects are in police custody and facing a slew of charges after an armed robbery and police chase involving several Alberta communities.

At 8:15 a.m. Friday, RCMP were called about a gas and dash with a school bus. Police say the school bus was stolen on Oct. 4 from the Rimbey area.

Shortly after, RCMP were called to a report of a man who was robbed after he stopped to help a school bus stopped on Highway 22. Windsor man faces charges for crime spree in stolen vehicles across Ontario

A Windsor man is facing an array of charges for a series of criminal exploits reminiscent of the video game Grand Theft Auto.

Claudio Topulli, 25, of Windsor, was arrested in July but Elgin County OPP did not announce his charges until earlier this week.

The charges are: Dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, flight while being pursued by police, failure to stop at a scene of an accident, intimidation while following on a highway, robbery, and two counts of possession of stolen property (value over $5,000).

The offences allegedly occurred over a distance of several hundred kilometres, spanning five different county jurisdictions.

Provincial police were alerted on July 26 around noon about a stolen vehicle moving erratically in the eastbound lanes of Highway 401 toward the community of Rodney, Ont.

Chatham-Kent OPP members located the vehicle in motion on the road and attempted to bring it to a safe stop.

Stolen cars, police chase, shoplifting all part of overnight teen crime spree

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) – Kids out on a crime spree caused mayhem in Colorado Springs overnight, stealing cars, threatening a store clerk with a weapon, shoplifting, and leading police on a chase.

Police were first alerted after the teens caused a disturbance and then later stole from a Circle K on Maizeland around 1:20 a.m. Tuesday. Responding officers were told a large group of boys and girls walked in, got aggressive with the clerk, and one of the members of the group pulled out a gun. The kids left, only to come back a short time later and steal from the store. They fled in a stolen car.

Stolen Mikuni Sushi Van Used in Crime Spree | FOX40

EL DORADO HILLS — Officials say the van stolen from the Mikuni sushi restaurant in Roseville that was used in a pair of burglaries early Friday morning has been found

The catering van was taken from the Mikuni parking lot some time overnight. It was found Friday around 2 p.m. off of Douglas Boulevard, outside of Roseville.

Two men used the van to ram the glass at a Camino Mobil gas station to break in. Investigators say the two men “stole numerous items” but didn’t go into further detail.

Later, the van was seen at a burglary at the El Dorado Saloon, where the burglary was interrupted by a staff member around 6 a.m. Saloon manager said the burglars were described by his bookkeeper who was there as “cordial.” No one was hurt.

The suspects are still outstanding.
