Toowoomba couple nabbed over four-day crime spree

A TOOWOOMBA couple wanted by police over a string of alleged offences have been caught and are awaiting their days before the city’s court.

Over four days, the pair is believed to have broken into a number of homes in the Crows Nest area, and stolen a quantity of goods.

The man, 32, and woman, 26, have been charged with a raft of offences including the unlawful entry of a Hampton Rd home on February 6.

The couple is alleged to have stolen a quantity of property from the home after they gained entry through an unlocked door.

Two days later, the couple allegedly used a similar method to get inside a recreational centre at Lake Perseverance and a “large quantity of property was stolen”, Crows Nest police Sergeant Greg Dawes said.

The next day, on February 9, the couple tried to break into a Perseverance Dam Rd property at Crows Nest but were disturbed
