Tampa man dies after crime spree

PASCO COUNTY, Fla. – Authorities said a man committed a string of crimes at a busy shopping plaza, Wednesday afternoon, before he died at a hospital the next day.

According to Pasco County Sheriff’s Public Information Officer Kevin Doll, people started calling 911 around 2:40 p.m. Wednesday about a reckless driver on State Road 54 in Land O’ Lakes. He was identified as John Sellinger.

After Sellinger drove recklessly on the road, he tried to commit a carjacking as well as smashed the window of another car trying to steal it and a 70-year-old man’s motorcycle, according to Doll.

“The victim pulled a gun on the suspect and then the suspect tried to choke the 70-year-old man, who almost lost consciousness had it not been for several bystanders who helped this old man,” Doll said.

– Deputies say an Air Force veteran is dead after he initiated a bizarre crime spree in Pasco County Wednesday.

Investigators say 34-year-old John Sellinger was reported missing by his family on Wednesday. Hours later, they got a call about an erratic driver near Land O’ Lakes. They say Sellinger had several crashed before attempting to carjack three separate drivers.

Robbery suspects in stolen car crash into Dallas cops after daylong crime spree, police say

Police said they arrested the driver, 19-year-old Mario Rodriguez of Dallas, while he was walking to a nearby gas station. A police helicopter spotted the second suspect, 20-year-old Adrean Buckaloo of Arlington, hiding beneath a vehicle and she also was arrested.

Officers reported finding a BB gun and other items they said link Rodriguez and Buckaloo to several other crimes committed in the day before their arrests.

Rodriguez has been charged with aggravated robbery, criminal mischief and evading arrest, and he also has an outstanding drug warrant in Grand Prairie. He was being held at the Dallas County Jail on Friday, with bail set at $300,000.

Buckaloo has been charged with aggravated robbery as well as a bond-forfeiture count and was being held Friday at the Dallas County Jail, with bail set at $51,500.

Brutal Crime Spree That Began in Chicago Leads to Wisconsin Robbery

A brutal crime spree that began in Chicago and ended outside of Milwaukee has police on alert and asking for the public’s help.

Surveillance video captured two suspects robbing the Swan Pharmacy at 9130 W. North Avenue in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin on Wednesday morning. Police say the suspects entered the pharmacy, displayed a handgun, demanded and obtained an unknown quantity of narcotic medication.

Video shows the suspects holding people at gunpoint and pushing some of the employees to the ground.

“The aggressive, violent nature that they handled the employees is very concerning to us and we want them to be identified and we want to make sure that they’re apprehended and off the streets,” said Lt. Brian Zalewski of the Wauwatosa Police Department.

2 Arrested After Crime Spree, Police Chase – Story – WTVF

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A crime spree led to a police chase and the arrest of two suspects.

The incident began around 9:15 a.m. Friday when officers said 22-year-old Savion Wilson fired shots in the area of the Sunrise Market in the 3600 block of Hamilton Church Road.

Wilson had gotten out of a red Pontiac at the market and approached several people in a silver car.

Reports stated the silver car drove off following an alleged altercation.

That’s when Wilson fired multiple shots toward the silver car, and the driver in the red Pontiac, later identified as 20-year-old Kendal Leach, drove away without Wilson.

Officials then responded to the scene, and Wilson’s location was tracked to nearby woods behind the market by a police helicopter.

Authorities said Wilson then got back into the Pontiac, which ended up wrecking at Smith Springs Road and Hobson Pike.

Suspect Arrested After Crime Spree, Police Chase

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A crime spree led to a police chase and the arrest of a suspect in Joelton.

The incident began around 9:30 a.m. Friday when officers responded to a report of shots fired.

Authorities said the suspect, whose identity had not been released, allegedly shot at a house.

That suspect then reportedly broke into two homes and stole two cars.

A police chase then ensued as the suspect was followed by officers and a police helicopter.

Officials said the suspect hit a car in Joelton, stole it, and ran it into a ditch.

That’s when the suspect was taken into custody near the 7500 block of Whites Creek Pike.

Crime spree starts in Chicago, ends near Milwaukee – WGN



WAUWATOSA, WI — Police in Wisconsin are trying to identify two men involved in a crime spree that started in Chicago.

Police say the two men were involved in a carjacking on the South Side early Wednesday morning. They drove to a small pharmacy near Milwaukee and robbed it at gunpoint. Police say the men were only after prescription narcotics.

The men got away in a different car than the one taken in Chicago. That car was recovered in the city.

The men are armed, and considered dangerous.

Young boy used as ‘lookout’ during woman’s crime spree

A Melbourne community has raised concern for a young boy who was used as a look out by a female thief.

The boy has been seen “several times” standing watch as a woman, who is believed to be his mother, steals mail from letterboxes.

“I seen the little boy waving to his mum, I think, to show her that we were coming, and that’s when she stopped and put the mail under her arm,” resident Olivia Power said.

A dad who went on a crime spree in a desperate attempt to repay the benefits he splashed on Christmas presents has been jailed.

Thomas MacDonald was paid £3,500 in housing benefit, but instead of handing it over to his landlord he “stupidly” spent it on gifts for his disabled little boy and girlfriend.

When his landlord found out, he warned the 23-year-old he had to come up with the money – or face being evicted.

Desperate to come up with the cash, MacDonald went on a stealing spree, targeting addresses in Inverurie and Aberdeen on Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
